The Graduate Program in Physics, at Masters and PhD levels, is developed by the Department of Physics, with the collaboration of other UFV departments. The student will join the Physics Department under the supervision of an advisor. The program offers specialized training in the following areas:
DEVICES AND SENSORS
EQUILIBRIUM AND NON-EQUILIBRIUM CRITICAL PHENOMENA
THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL BIOLOGICAL PHYSICS
PRODUCTION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF THIN FILMS, COMPOSITES AND NEW MATERIALS
MAGNETIC SYSTEMS AND NANOESTRUTURED MAGNETIC MATERIALS
MATHEMATICAL PHYSICS AND QUANTUM FIELD THEORY
The duration of the Program is approximately 24 months for the Master, and 48 months for the Doctorate.
